Beads of Courage is excited
to announce a recent collaboration with the USS Tucson Submarine! The crew of the
USS Tucson, a nuclear-powered Navy submarine in active service, will soon be
carrying artist-made glass beads on board as they venture out to sea. Like our
Beads in Space program, we are excited to have Beads of Courage travel to a
place they have never been before. We hope that "Beads in the Deep Blue
Sea" reminds our members to stay calm under pressure and "seas"
the day!
We are asking our bead artists to create unique beads that
represent what they think of the deep blue sea and send them our way. For more
