Support Beads of Courage in September!

You see a bead.  We see a story.

September is National Bead Challenge Month.  All month long, we are working hard to raise much-needed funds to support our mission and sustain our programs.

And we need your help!  

Beads of Courage, Inc. is a nonprofit organization serving over 60,000 children who are coping with cancer, congenital heart defects, and other serious or life-threatening conditions.

As a nonprofit, we rely on the kindness of people like you to help us put beads in the hands of courageous kids – beads that honor their journey and show everything they’ve  accomplished in the face of tough challenges.

Let’s show Beads of Courage kids that we love them to the moon and back!  Every $50 donated adds another bead to our virtual strand and helps sustain our vital programs in the year ahead. 

A highlight of the month-long fundraising event is National Bead Challenge Day.  On Saturday, September 19, from 10 am-4 pm, talented glass bead artists will be at their torches in a marathon bead-making session for Beads of Courage.  Glass art studios in 20 cities across the U.S. are competing to see which studio can raise the most money to support Beads of Courage and win valuable prizes. 

Be sure to credit your donation to a studio near you!  The studios are listed on the donation page.  Spread the word about this fundraiser and make our virtual strand grow with specially-colored beads representing your studio, city or state.  (If you don’t have a studio in your area, please choose “Courage Tiger Virtual Studio” when donating).

Attention Bead Artists!  We are challenging you to raise funds by asking your friends, family and fans to sponsor beads on our virtual strand in your name.  Ask them to enter your name when they make their donation.  We have some very special prizes for the artists who raise the most money!
