Courage Tiger here and I just arrived in Oregon! Beads of Courage is not in any hospitals in Oregon yet, but that doesn't stop us from helping children and teens who live there! Beckham is one of the children we support in Oregon through our Beads in the Mail Program. We ship his beads right to his front door since he can't get them at his local hospital. 
Beckham is just about to turn four and was born with posterior urethral valves, which resulted in chronic kidney
disease. When he was talking about his beads, he told me that he feels
special when they come in the mail and that he gets to add them to the strand! Beckham told me his beads are special to him because, “Having my name surrounded by all
of the other beads makes me feel brave. All of the beads represent MY journey,
so I like that my name gets to be there.”
